Microsoft Access: The '.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. Note both PowerBi and MSAccess 2013 are 32 bit. I havent seen clear instructions on how to re-register the provider - many seem like rabbit holes that seem more complicated than it should be, esp since i didnt have to do any of it before. Now i get a message that the OLEDB provider is not registered when i try to refresh (again, all similar databases and powerbi files as before)Īny idea? I have tried to reinstall both programs.

Recently had to remove my volume license MSAccess and reinstall with a standard retail license.

Have had PowerBi working on this laptop for more than a year, basically integrating with MSAccess 2013 32 bit successfully (need to stay 32 bit so MSAccess will integrate with Quickbooks QBFC interface).
